An Internal Condition

“Healthy is an internal condition not an external appearance.” (Amber Dodzweit)

Are you on a health journey? Perhaps we all are on some level. When I say health journey, what does that mean to you personally?

How do you view yourself from the inside out? Which part of your health do you prioritize? How does the world around us define health? Do you agree or do you have your own understanding? Why? How has your journey allowed you to come to that definition?

How is your mental health?
How is your spiritual health?
How is your emotional health?
How is your physical health?

How do you set your health goals? How do you measure them? Do you have others on the journey with you? Or do you try to go it alone?

I talk to many people who go through their days—yearning for a healthier lifestyle. They let the days pass wanting more but they don’t take charge. Your health is your responsibility. There are many friends, family and even professionals willing to walk with you on your journey if you are open to it.

When will you stop and decide you want something MORE and you’re willing to make the everyday necessary changes? I ask that question to my clients A LOT. Take some time to reflect on that question.

As far as your current health goals—
What is working?
What’s not?
Where do you need help?
Who can help?
Do you need to shift how you think about health?

Your all around health is SO important. It affects every single day ahead of you. You can do this!
Let me know through email if you need help sorting out your health goals, dreams, mindset and internal shifts.

Reflection:
Spend time answering and reflecting on the questions presented above. If you feel it’s necessary, carve out some time to pray over your health and how you view it. Ask God to join with you on your new goals and ask Him to give you a new perspective on a healthy lifestyle. Take some time to set the goals you’d like to work towards.
